What do you think is/are the best thing(s) about SSCS?
There are so many. First, the flexibility is a key aspect of our school. With the flexibility of when, where, and how to teach students, parents are given choice and freedom within their child's education. Also, being a public charter, we track ADA allowing us to have funds that are used to directly help students with the curriculum choices as well as extracurricular activities. Thirdly, I love that SSCS has a high standard of quality in what we offer as well as the way admin handles the business side of things. Finally, I love that I work with so many wonderful people. They all truely care for their students and for one another.
Do (did) you homeschool your kids?
Yes, currently homeschooling all 3 of my kids! It was something I never thought I'd do when starting a family, but when I began my position with SSCS (right before my olderst started Kindergarten) I knew this is what my family needed to do.
What is your dream summer vacation?
Israel. I'd love to see all the Historical and Biblical places of Israel.
What is your favorite subject to teach?

I'm usually spending time at one of my kids' sports practices/games.
What is something interesting about yourself that many people might not know?
