Intervention Program Introduction:

We have exciting news about some terrific opportunities to help build student achievement in the areas of reading and math. Our school received state funding through the LCAP to help provide optional, additional academic support for students who score two or more grade levels below on their i-Ready assessment. Our Curriculum Department thoroughly reviewed hundreds of online and print curriculum options with the goal of finding the best supplemental resources to support your child in the areas of reading and math. Although none of the following Intervention options are required in our Parent Choice school model, we encourage our students to use these additional resources. These options are offered at no cost to a student’s instructional funds while LCAP funding is still available.

i-Ready Assessment Window Dates:

Fall Assessment: August 18th - September 11th

Spring Assessment: January 8th - February 5th

To learn more about i-Ready, please refer to our Assessment Page. If you have not received a PDF of your child’s i-Ready report, please contact your ES. Here is a sample of an i-Ready Math Report and i-Ready Reading Report.

Criteria for students who qualify:

Print and Online Curriculum: Students in grades 2 -12 who score two grade levels or below on any i-Ready domain (Math or Reading) can receive supplemental print or online resources.

Intervention Tutoring: Students in grades 4-11 who have an overall i-Ready score of two grade levels or below(Math or Reading) can receive some online or in-person tutoring sessions.

Intervention Tutoring Options:

This year, our school will be offering limited tutoring sessions using LCAP funding for students in grades 4-11 scoring two grade levels or below overall in Math or Reading on their i-Ready diagnostic assessments. At the conclusion of LCAP-funded tutoring, it is our hope that your family continues with the tutoring services using Instructional Funds (IFs).
